In the January 13, 2025, episode of Bigg Boss 18, Vivian Dsena addressed media queries regarding his decision to relinquish the coveted Ticket To Finale and Time God title to fellow contestant Chum Darang. Was it a genuine act of guilt or a calculated strategy? Here's what he had to say.
The episode was packed with high-intensity drama as the media grilled the housemates about their gameplay, alliances, and personalities. Vivian Dsena was a central figure, facing tough questions from journalists, particularly about his surprising move in the Ticket To Finale task.
When asked whether his decision would jeopardize his chances of winning the show, the Madhubala actor replied, "There is a big difference between what people outside expect from me and how I respond to situations after experiencing them inside this house."
He further addressed the media's comments on audience expectations, which painted him as a strong contender. Responding to this, Dsena said, "I did what I felt was right."
Explaining his decision during the task, Dsena elaborated, "In the Ticket To Finale task, I had repeatedly asked Chum to step down, but I couldn’t shake off the guilt that she was suffering because of me. That’s why I decided to give her the Ticket To Finale and the Time God position. It wasn’t a strategy, just guilt."
Currently, all seven contestants—Karan Veer Mehra, Shilpa Shirodkar, Eisha Singh, Rajat Dalal, Vivian Dsena, Chum Darang, and Avinash Mishra—are nominated, keeping the competition fierce as the finale draws near.
